Wee Chi Chihuahua's

I have added this page to help answer some of the frequent questions from inquiring minds. Keep your questions coming, I learn just as much from all of you as I can teach you. If I don't know the answer, I will find it.....

Q.     Can you ship me a puppy?

A.      Sorry, I do not ship puppies. I will drive a distance to meet you part of the way, but I do encourage you to come to our home and meet. If you are serious about a puppy and you live a far distance away, you are free to fly here and take the puppy back with you on the plane, but only after they are at lease 12 weeks old.  (Yes, I have had people do this)

Q.     How big will the puppy get?

A.     Your puppy will be between 2-6 lbs as an adult, depending on diet, exercise and lifestyle.  I do not breed my chihuahuas to get extremely small puppies. There are only one kind of Chihuahua with 2 coat types. There are no such breed as Tea-cup Chihuahuas. I occasionally get tiny pups, but most will be 4-6 lbs.

Q.     Where do you live?

A.     I live approx. 1 hour and 15 min west of Red Deer, 2 hrs and 15 min from Calgary or Edmonton. Take Hwy 11 west from Red Deer to Rocky Mountain House and Hwy 752 west past Cow Lake. For detailed directions, please contact me.

Q.     Aren't Chihuahua's Yappy?

A.     All dogs are yappy....if you don't teach them not to be. Proper training, socialization and discipline is Very Important to all pets.

Q.     Are Chihuahua's hard to housebreak?

A.     They can be. You can't expect your puppy to be fully housebroken if you take them home and give them free range of the house. You have to be diligent and patient to train your puppy. Chihuahua's are easilly litter trained, paper trained and (weather-permiting) outdoor trained.
