Thank you for your interest in these great little dogs! The chihuahua is the smallest and longest lived dog in the world! They are bursting with personality and are fearless companions. If you are looking for a small, loving and loyal companion, you have come to the right place. Oh, and did I mention, they are easily litter box trained?!

Let me tell you about us......

I proudly love & raise Chihuahuas, and live near Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Canada. I adore Chihuahua's and specialize in them alone, although I do have 2 boxers & 2 cats as well who are pets only. I do not offer stud service for other people. My goal is to breed for tempermant and health, refine my lines, be successful in the show ring & adopt my puppies to loving family homes. Our home wouldn't be complete without our little family members.

I have finally reached an exciting time in my program, allowing me to become a CKC breeder and plan to try my hand at showing.I thank everyone who has been here for us over the years and who continue to offer support and friendship. I couldn't do it without you!

Educating myself and others about the breed & all related issues, is first & foremost my mission. I welcome any new information & happily offer any help I can give. Most of all, I love to "talk chi", so don't be shy :)

If you are interested in purchasing one of my pups for breeding, please be upfront about it. I will work with you to help you make an informed decision & if we are on the same track, match you with the right puppy. Breeding to experience the miracle of birth is not responsible in my opinion. I care about my babies and want what is best for all of them. I will ask a lot of questions and Honesty goes a LONG way! I screen new families to ensure a forever home for them. I work hard to get to know each family before making a decision to place a puppy in their home. It is not first-come-first-serve for me. I will strive to match the right puppy with the right family.

My chihuahua puppies are smooth coat, apple head and are within the breed standard of 2-6 lbs as adults. (Although the adult weight can be more or less depending on diet and exercise) My chi's are raised as part of our family first and are well socialized. They are used to cats, children & noise because they are raised underfoot in my home. Puppies are always well on their way to being paper trained when they go to their new homes. I live on an acreage so my dogs get to enjoy safe and fun time outside in a large, clean dog kennel as well and fenced in yard to run. I have 3 children, who all participate in the raising and love of these wonderful little dogs. I volunteer with many organizations and take in rescue animals when needed. I am also a nurse and work for home care and the hospital. I bring the puppies and adults in for visits as often as I can and they all love it!!

Our puppies are quite fearless when they leave here. They are outgoing and confident, with the ability to adjust well into your family, even if there are children and other pets (supervised of course). They don't realize that they are so tiny, so they need your help to keep safe.

Keep in mind that there are no such thing as "tea-cup", "mini" or "toy" chihuahuas. These are terms used to sell very small and likely runts in litters or the term is sometimes used to boost the sale of a breeders pups. I will never use the term.There is only 1 type of chihuahua, with either long or short coat. The breed standard is 2-6 lbs as adults, so don't be fooled.

Anyone interested in adopting a pup will be welcome in my home to meet all of my Chihuahua's. I do have references available on request from past adoptive families and will happily give you my vet's phone #. I wish for everyone who is considering adopting a puppy, from anywhere, to visit the breeders home and feel 100% comfortable with their decision. If they can't show the parents or you feel uneasy at all, thank them kindly and drive away. Take the time to invest in the right puppy for you. I believe in quality, not quantity. Raising Chihuahua's is a passion for myself and my family, and not done for income (I already have a job ). All of my dogs are veterinary monitored and given the best of care. It is very important to me that you adopt a healthy baby.
