OUCH!!

Pain is real, It hurts & affects your entire body. Its no different in your pet.

Lets start with signs:

  • abnormal behavior; laying still, abnormal posture, restlessness, pacing
  • they might hide, to avoid other animals or people, stiff body movements and unwillingness to move
  • signs of stress; panting, shallow breathing, shivering & enlarged pupils

If your dog is in pain or showing any of the above signs, seek medical help ASAP!!

  • cause muscle fatigue & tissue breakdown
  • rob the animal of needed sleep, this reduces the body's ability to heal

Pain Control:
  • the longer your pet is in pain, the longer it will take him to recover
  • your vet will help you with diagnosing the cause of your pets pain & developing a plan to control it (medication or other)
